Michelle and her husband found the most lovely rural spot on which to build their dream home. Luckily the plot already had a house on it, so they were able to live in the house for the year while the building work started in the garden just behind. They did a huge amount of the work on the house themselves and had a very clear vision about exactly what they wanted. They fell in love with, and bought, the fabulous Hebron Beige Limestone flooring from a local supplier in Falmouth just as the building work was starting, and this was later fitted throughout the ground floor of the house, in all the bathrooms and even outside on a small patio as well. Michelle wanted a modern, easy to maintain kitchen so chose a light gloss kitchen and constructed a small half wall to separate the kitchen from the dining area. They visited Steve Bristow stone Mason in Newton Abbott and selected a slab of Kashmir Gold Granite which worked perfectly with the gloss doors and beautiful limestone tiles. Michelle was so delighted with the granite that she decided to also use it as a splash-back behind the hob. The professional tiler scoffed at Michelle when she said that she wanted to fit all the mosaic tiles in her new bathrooms herself and told her that he would be back when she ran into trouble. However, the last laugh was on him when she had completed all the tiling in all the bathrooms and he had to admit that he could not have done a better job himself!
