Did You attend the Cornwall Home Show in May?

For anyone planning to build an extension, do up a house, buy a sofa or garden furniture, talk to interior designers – or most importantly purchasing a kitchen – this was the place to be over the bank holiday weekend in early May.

I had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend, although fairly exhausting, and chatted to over 100 people who were interested in having a new kitchen or bedroom.  It took us a good two days hard work to set the stand up before the show and an amazing one hour to dismantle it all  – although there were 5 of us helping.  I met some really interesting people both visitors and other stall holders and have helped over 15 people with plans for their new kitchens since the show.

The star of my show was definitely the tall larder with its veneered interior, lots of useful shelves making everything inside easy to access and the lovely oak and glass spice racks on the backs of the doors.  Almost every single visitor to my stand said that they would absolutely love to take home this larder and put it in their kitchen – the best thing is that it is now in mine!

Well done to Andrew Weaver and his team at Live Events South West for all their hard work.  I am really looking forward to the next show.
